Holiday Decked in Gold and Silver

Last night at the ADCC awards we at Holiday Films had the privilege to celebrate industry leaders, see friends and colleagues, and even walk away with some awards – 3 to be exact.

We would like to thank our friends at TBWA, Toronto who conceived this great campaign for MADD; Anthony Wolch, James Ansley, Denise Cole & Nadya MacNeil. Their ability to take a sobering topic like drunk driving and present it in an unconventional and even humorous way is surely the skill that garnered them the gold. We always have such a great time whenever we collaborate with the folks at BBDO, and last years RBC|TIFF campaign for the Emerging Filmmakers Competition was no exception. The wonderful team consisting of Peter Ignazi, Carlos Moreno, Mike Donaghey, Chris Joakim & Megan Flett created the campaign and we added director Steven Tsuchida into the mix. The result was a hilarious campaign that aired before the films at TIFF 2009 and was seen by industry professionals from all over the world. The Awards were held at the beautiful Royal Conservatory of Music which was fitting since all 1,135 attendees had to sing happy birthday in unison to Geoffrey Roche’s children. That memory will not soon be forgotten.
