A Little Minx for Holiday

8 Sep

We are pleased to announce that Little Minx directors Ben Mor, Jim Field Smith, Nico & Martin and Sebastian Reed have joined our roster for Canadian representation.

Renowned for his creativity and raw style, Ben Mor has delivered spots for such global clients as Pepsi, Verizon, HP, ESPN, HP, Tanqueray, Chevrolet, Miller Genuine Draft and Coca-Cola. In 2010, Mor received rave reviews for his trailer for Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon video game. Mor has directed music videos for top acts including TI, Juvenile, Nas, Black Eyed Peas and John Legend with Kanye West. Most recently, Mor wrapped a tour with the Black Eyed Peas directing their upcoming feature documentary.

Jim Field Smith burst into the film world in 2006 with his short “Goodbye to the Normals” which became a viral sensation and picked up several awards on the festival circuit. It attracted the attention of advertising agencies as well as Hollywood studios. Soon after, Field Smith was directing high-profile commercial projects including Mini’s Silver-Lion winning interactive campaign “‘Ave A Word”, and Burger King’s acclaimed “Dark Testimonial” campaign. Field Smith has directed two feature films, She’s Out of My League, a romantic comedy starring Jay Baruchel, and Butter, a satirical comedy starring Jennifer Garner and Hugh Jackman which is premiering at TIFF 2011.

Buenos Aires directing duo Nico & Martin are probably best know for their hilarious Axe “Premature Perspiration” spot that picked up a Gold Lion this year at Cannes. In 2010 the pair was honoured with the coveted Cannes Grand Prix for “Teletransporter” for Andes, one of Argentina’s leading beer brands. Nico & Martin have also won awards for their work on Cadbury, Pepsi, Renault and Doritos. Most recently the duo has completed comedic campaigns for Ford, T-Mobile, Topline and Rexona.

Sebastian Reed has directed over 150 commercials for clients that include IKEA, Reebok, Snickers, Nike, Pepsi, Puma, VW, Volvo and Mercedes. He became partner of Stockholm-based Camp David Film back in 2002, where he still is today, the same year that saw the Swedish native nominated for four spots at the Young Directors Awards in Cannes. Two years later he was chosen “Future Gold Young Creative” at the Clio Awards. Other wins for Reed include two Golden Egg Awards (Guldagget) in 2008 in Stockholm, one of which was for Best Film, “The Stick”, for sports betting client Oddset through Stockholm-based Waters Widgren/TBWA.
